Where is son Robert Houghton in 1871? There is a Robert Houghton died in Bristol in April/May/June Quarter 1862 which could be him.

There is a family story
that one son of Oliver and Sarah's was snatched by the press gang and made to
go to sea. Presumably press gangs
no longer existed in the 1870's? This was told me in a letter by Freda Bleathman
(nee Houghton) Great
grandmother Sarah Houghton, Oliver and Sarah's daughter is a servant in Westbury
on Trym in 1871.
