Francis and Alice Haynes (nee Caswell) of Hanham,
FRANCIS
HAYNES great, great, great grandfather born about 1806 in Bitton Parish,
Gloucestershire; died abt 1879 Hanham, Gloucestershire?. He was probably the
son of SAMUEL HAYNES and SARAH HAYNES (nee COLES). He
possibly married ALICE CASWELL December 25th, 1825 in St James, Bristol.
Is this the correct Francis? Francis was a Tailor by trade. Was he apprenticed?
ALICE
CASWELL; died Bef. 1837. She was the daughter of UNKNOWN CASWELL
and UNKNOWN CASWELL (nee UNKNOWN)
There is a family of Caswells living near Francis who could be connected with
Alice. This Alice is a very elusive character. Is she really the wife of my
Francis Haynes?
